The farm is easily accessible from Ceres: about 35 km of tar on the R355, and then 40 km of gravel road. It does not abut on any roads. A servitude access road crosses the neighbouring farm to the main road, the R356.
Another 800-meter road across the neighbouring farm by servitude road brings you to the entrance of this vast farmland through a locked gate.

THE CLOSEST TOWN Ceres provides medical, veterinary, legal, accounting, and other professional services and a range of commercial enterprises.

ACCOMMODATION:
A contemporary owner cabin is situated in the ambiance of this exclusive and tranquil setting. It consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 WC/shower bathrooms, kitchen and large open plan stoep area. There is a fireplace in one of the rooms, and a stove in the other.
This north facing cabin has charm, is sturdy, in good condition and designed to be comfortably warm during winter and cool in summer. The stoep area was designed to capture superb views of the vast Karoo with lovely mountains views in the distance. From the stoep no other buildings or lights of adjacent farms are visible to disturb these views. Here one can enjoy spectacular sunsets and sunrises.

It is an easy lock-up-and-go.
There is no Eskom or solar.
There is an underroof carport

FARMING INFASTRUCTURE:
There is a fence around the house protecting the low-maintenance garden and keep the game away from the stoep.

The perimeter of the farm is good jackal proof fencing due to proper maintenance. Springbok roams the entire farm. Internal fencing needs attention. The odd kudu traverses the farm as well.
Water is stored in 2 earth dams after good run-off rains. Another 3 dams were damaged during floods. There is a cement dam at the kraal, workable, but in poor condition.
One functioning borehole has never dried up. Water is distributed via a pipe to a Jojo tank in each of the 5 inner camps. Each camp has 2 water points. The water is pumped by a submersible pump powered by three solar panels. The water is potable but not pleasant to the taste. There are at least 3 other boreholes the condition of which is not known.
A zinc lucerne barn, and a fenced kraal with numerous pens complete the farming infrastructure. There is a staff cottage and kitchen garden is maintained at the kraal.
A very small, sheltered orchard lies next to the cabin.
The new owner will be offered a spare submersible pump (220V), and a donkey boiler for hot water (not installed) without charge.
The farm is ideal for people who will appreciate and enjoy preserving the pristine surrounds.
