Climate
This area experiences a semi-arid climate with distinct seasonal variations. Summers are typically warm and dry, while winters are cooler and drier with potential frost. In summer the temperatures can rise to 40 degrees and occasional showers or thunderstorms are possible. The annual mostly summer rainfall average around 250mm per annum. In the winter temperatures can drop below 0°C, with frost common, and snow possible on higher elevations.


Farming infrastructure
All infrastructure for an extensive economically viable livestock farm is in place. Due to proper maintenance the roads, windmills and fences are in good repair. Also so the sheep and cattle handling facilities; windmills with solar pumps that supplies drinking water to all the camps; strategic stock working pens; water troughs in each and every inner- camp and jackal proof perimeter fencing with good quality stock proof fences dividing the inner camps.
